TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR JIS-Fasteners.com

PAYMENT

We accept the following forms of payment -Cash in person, Bank Transfer,  Debit and Credit card 

Sorry we can no longer accept cheques. or PayPal

Payment by Bank Transfer incurs no fees and help us to keep prices low.

All goods remain the property of Zed-parts Ltd until full and final payment is received.

FORMATION OF CONTRACT

Payment must be received in full before the goods you ordered will be dispatched.
We will confirm by email that your order has been accepted using the email address given by you when you placed your order.
This forms the contract between JIS-Fasteners.Com (Zed-parts Ltd) and you the customer.
If for any reason we cannot process your order we will contact you.

CANCELLATIONS 

Under the United Kingdom's The Consumer Contracts Regulations(June 2014).
You have the right to cancel the contract for the purchase of any item within 14 working days of delivery.
To cancel this contract, please notify us by e-mail first, then return the item to us.
(at the address shown below under 'returns')
in original, unopened condition. Enclose a note detailing your name, address, telephone number, and 'Cancellation of Order'.

Please note that you will be responsible for covering return postage, unless the item supplied was not the correct item due to an error on our part or the item is defective.

OVERSEAS CUSTOMERS

Overseas customers please contact us first as we are unable to sell to some countries. 

Postage quoted is a quote only, some overseas orders can cost a lot more to send due to remote location. Overseas orders will be shipped air mail. We have had big problems with surface mail, shipping time and no item tracking.
We will try to keep costs down but overseas postal charges can be high and will have to be paid for before your order is shipped.
Some large items can cost a lot to ship due to the dimensions not weight,  

OVERSEA CUSTOMERS DUTY AND TAXES
Delivery to oversea customers  is DDU. 
Delivered Duty Unpaid (DDU) is an international trade term meaning the seller is responsible for ensuring goods arrive safely to a destination; the buyer is responsible for import duties.

ITEMS SOLD

It is the intention of JIS-Fasteners.Com (Zed-parts Ltd) to provide sufficient information about the products and services offered on this site as would be reasonable to fully describe the item to the extent required by the Consumer Protection (Distant Selling) Regulations 2000.
It may be from time to time that the description falls short of what the customer personally considers adequate.
In that event the customer agrees to request further information as soon as is reasonably possible by e-mail to Zed-parts Ltd or to the address given on this site.
The failure of the customer to make such request, either before or after an offer is submitted on this site to Zed-parts Ltd, shall amount to an acknowledgement by the customer that the description on the site is adequate.

DELIVERY

Orders received on a working day before 3.00pm  will usually be dispatched the same day for delivery by 1st class post, standard parcel post or recorded delivery. Orders received after 3.00pm on a working day will be dispatched the next working day. In case we don't have the product in stock, we will notify you of the next available delivery date and we will dispatch your goods as soon as they come into stock.

We use Royal Mail or specific couriers for our deliveries. All orders  will be sent recorded delivery and will require a signature.
This helps with any problems and items can be tracked if they go missing. We will send your item to the address you have supplied.

If for any reason the parcel has been returned to Zed-parts Ltd due to nobody having been in to receive the parcel or it has not been picked up from the depot listed on the card left at the address, the customer must pay for all charges incurred to Zed-parts Ltd for sending the parcel back to ”us” and to pay for the parcel to be resent out to you with no exceptions.

FITTING OF THE PARTS WE SUPPLY

All goods are supplied with the understanding that they will be fitted by a qualified experienced person equipped with correct tools necessary to fit the parts correctly.

Torque Setting

We cannot be held responsible for incorrect torque being used on fitting, it is 
your responsibility to use the correct tightening torque for the fastener supplied 

Material and grade of steel is stated on the item page.
